Hello everyone!
We are so blessed to get to come to this camp with others that want to put God first in everything.
Their smiles and their behaviors are a great barometer to gauge their growth in their connection to God.
They share their answers prayers and blessings along with prayer request in our morning Devos.
They dance for God during our all camp Devos.
They smile and wave as they reach out to their brothers in our Shout-outs.
On Wednesday, we had a lovely day at Edwin Warner Park with the tribe of Manasseh.
There were over 50 fifth-through-eighth graders playing together as true brothers.
The boys hiked, fished and enjoyed playing in the Little Harpeth River. God provided a beautiful day for all!
Thank you Ashley, Karen & Robin for all your help!
There will be no camp next week. We will resume on Monday, July 7th.
When we meet again, we will review taking care of God’s temple.
At the end of each day we, as a tribe, have certain tasks to perform.
We will work with them more with the goal to leave God’s house better, at the end of the day, then when we started.
There is so much energy in our group and we pray that, during the following weeks of camp, we will listen to our temples and be sensitive to God’s leading if we need to slow down.
Our second camp field trip will be on Thursday, July 10 with Manasseh.
There will be swimming and fishing and lots of fun! More details to come!
Again, if anyone is available to drive or to come & fellowship it is a very enjoyable time!
Have a blessed week off camp.
Love, Dan & Josh
