Hello Dear Parents, Grandparents & Guardians!
As camp progresses we strengthen our connection to God by growing our love for one another.
Week 3 of Day Camp was VERY encouraging. This past week was about a connection with authority, with our parents, with teachers, etc…
We shared scriptures that help us keep our focus on God when we are tested. Some boys had a special verse that they kept when they needed strength.
On Monday our tribe led the All-Camp-Devo under the guidance of our Junior Counselors. All of them did a beautiful job glorifying God with scriptures, praise & singing.
A heart-felt thank you to all of the JC’s that performed service projects throughout the week as well as a group of our campers who assisted the prison ministry.
They all had willing hearts, there to serve!
For week 4 we will strive to connect with others, learning about our brothers & sisters in other tribes of camp and encouraging our out-of-town brothers & sisters.
Our All-Camp-Devo webcast is on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. – Please have your boys wear their camp shirts & please come join us or tune in wherever you are!
We have a Field Trip with Manasseh on Wednesday. – Please wear our tribe color – brown – on Wednesday. (*or your camp shirt is OK)
If anyone is able to help drive Wednesday, please let me know…AND if you would like to come spend part or all of the day with us, We would LOVE that!
