Wow!! What an amazingly blessed spirit filled first two weeks we have had!! Jennifer, Jaclyn and I are having a blast getting to spend these beautiful summer days with your sweet daughters!! Our Junior Counselors this year are Natalie, Lexi, & Amanda!! Emily also got to help us out a few days while she was visiting!! We are seeing growth in these amazing children since last year!!! They are a glory to God, serving each other, asking what they can do for us and checking in with us daily!!
Week 1 – We got the opportunity to go on a field trip to Edward Warner Park with another sister tribe!! We went on a hike and explored God’s creation!! We played and cooled off in a sweet little creek!!! The girls enjoyed finding tiny sea shells, seeing crawfish and a splendid breeze!!!
Week 2 – Today we got to go swimming at a very generous and sweet saints pool!! God decided we had enough and allowed thunder and lightening! Praise God we know how to find his will in everything!! And very exciting… we have our very first 2014 Summer Day Camp Webcast TODAY!!!
On Thursday this week our girls get the chance to lead the day camp group devotional at 1:00! Please come over and cheer them on!
We have been reading through the book of Genesis for group devotional with Miss Beth!! It is such a sweet time of worship and praise to God!! The girls have chosen to memorize Colossians 3, and parts of Psalm 119, and then to brush up on 1 Corinthians 13!! If you can help them with that it would be great!!
