What a WONDERFUL first week for our 5th and 6th grade girls!!
What an opportunity to grow in our CONNECTION to God!
So much fun ALREADY!
These sweet young ladies have totally embraced the charge for our precious summer camp.; We have already had many opportunities to serve: baking bread for our Assembly Communion and writing letters to out of town friends.
We also had our first field trip to Edwin Warner Park along with the tribe of Ephriam. We hiked, had picnic lunch, wonderful quiet time beneath the trees and fun wading in the water! God totally blessed the weather and protected our travel and led a fun and Spirit-filled day!
This week we’ll have several opportunities to swim so be sure your daughter has a swimsuit, coverup and towel available each day. We will also be continuing with preparation of Communion Bread and assisting the Prison Ministry team with mailings! We will also be adopting local saints for encouragement and continuing to reach out to our out of town friends.
Each day the girls are sharing how they are putting into practice the directions from camp: to make someone else happy, to serve others, to help out their parents at home and to show more love every chance they get! God is so awesome to immediately provide blessings for each girl as they DO the will of God and follow the directions of these teachings.
We are so thankful and honored to be with these sweet girls and pray for continued blessings and greater connection to our Awesome, Amazing and All Powerful God!!
