Greetings from the counselors of Asher! God is showing us so much hope for the future generation as the young ladies of Asher are exhibiting the Characteristics of Christ more and more as the weeks go by. We are excited and convicted as many of these girls are learning scripture, asking “what they could be doing better?”, taking correction with humility and staying under authority. We are witnessing a future generation of young saints that love God and want to get everything right with Him, it’s AWESOME!!!
Mrs. Gwen charged us this week with 2 Peter 1:3-11and she also asked the campers to list the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) that they felt was their strongest attribute. We had Mr. Chris Clark come and speak about “Stranger Danger” & Mr. Frank Damato share his testimony on staying joyful for God this past week. We got to make & serve the counselors & JC’s pretzel treats and learn two Zion dances.
This week (July 15-18): Swimming Tuesday AM (wear swim suit underneath clothes) & Thursday Pajama Party in afternoon watching “Little Princess” bring candy, popcorn & drinks provided.
