This week was amazing! Mrs. Gwen was able to come to speak to us each morning this week and charge us to have the Characteristics of Christ and to memorize some very important scriptures Matthew 7:12 and
1 Corinthians 3:1-7! We are learning this connection with God and now this Connection with each other through love and the fruits of the Spirit!
We participated in Art 2 times this week led by Calla and Woodi and also had a special Gymnastics session taught by Chris. Ask your campers all about it! Lots of fun and creativity for sure!
We received our notebooks and began diving into the definitions of PATIENCE, KINDNESS, LOVE AND GENTLENESS! The workbooks are amazing! Please thank the WD staff when you see them!
Our Junior Counselors: Garrett, Dominic, Jacki, Parker, Evan and Alex were amazing! Above and beyond the call of duty!
Our sweet campers were honored with a special minute with Mrs. Gwen on Wednesday morning where she heard them recite their scripture and then asked us to do it on stage on Wednesday night! What an honor for God to see our hearts! These young boys are amazing and are raising the bar for us as counselors! They are building beautiful friendships!
A HUGE thank you to Tiffani Day for helping Rhonna this week while Heather was out of town! She is gifted in following the Spirit and gentleness! It was a fabulous week!
This coming week we will have more art work, more quiet time, more gymnastics and a special Field Trip to Edwin Warner Park on Thursday! We will need car seats on that morning and sunscreen and bug spray applied! Any parents that want to come chaperone please contact Heather! We would love to have you!
