What a fantastic first day! Gwen opened the day with a charge to all the campers! The boys of Manasseh had a great day with much organizing and looking ahead for great plans for the summer.
We selected some scripture for memorization: 1 Corinthians 13, 2 Peter 15-11, James 2:14-26 and stanzas of Psalm 119. The boys were also given a homework assignment; please write a short paragraph on ideas for service within the body of our church. We plan on submitting and implementing some of their ideas this summer!
Our first opportunity for swimming will be Wednesday so be sure all arrive with swimming suit and towel. We would also like to play some softball; please send with your camper and gloves, bats or supplies that we can use for the team.
Praise God for the perfect weather and the opportunity to spend this time together.
