Praise God for Remnant Fellowship Day Camp!
We learned a lot of information that God led Mrs. Gwen to teach us this week. We also received the camp workbook which is an amazing tool from God to help your child grow closer to God and Jesus Christ. Parents please recap with your children Mrs. Gwen’s teachings and the workbook.
Asher girls got to write thank you notes, create art, play cooperative games, swim and watch the Basics DVD week one. God has given so much in one week! We have had many answered prayers!!! We praise God again for this truth!!!

- Mark 12:29 – 31 The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: Hear, O israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as your self. There is no commandment greater than these.”
- Romans 12:9 & 10 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to onea nother in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
- 1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers , love one another deeply from the heart.
- 1 John 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and wo the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what s right is not a child of God; nor is any one who does not love his brother
FOR FIRST TIME DAY CAMPERS:
- If this is your child’s first year at Remnant Summer Day Camp, welcome! We are here to help support you and your child as we all grow in the Lord together! Here are a few tips to make your first summer the best it can be!
- Your little camper will most likely be exhausted in the afternoons. We have learned that it is best to follow the Spirit of God in planning your evening’s activities as your child adjusts to the busy summer activities. They may also ask for extra drinks or snacks.
- You can engage your child and share in God’s blessings by asking them about answered prayers at the end of the day, and by starting the next day off with anything they might be praying for for that coming day. It is such a faith-builder for everyone to see how God blesses these obedient children!
- Please feel free to “over-communicate” with us – if there is anything you’ve seen or would like to inform us of please message or email either of us!
